In the field of global public health, Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is a common gastric pathogen, and its infection has increasingly attracted widespread attention from Lancang-Mekong countries. With the continuous deepening of scientific research and the improvement of public health awareness, the prevention, detection and treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection have become an important part of the health issues of many countries in the Lancang-Mekong region. The Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as “Lancang-Mekong Cooperation”) is a new sub-regional cooperation mechanism jointly initiated and built by my country, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. It aims to deepen the good-neighborly friendship and pragmatic cooperation among the countries in the Lancang-Mekong region, promote the economic and social development of the riparian countries, build the Lancang-Mekong economic development belt, contribute to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and jointly maintain and promote regional peace, development and prosperity.
From September 19 to 20, a training seminar on the use of radioactive drugs to help the Lancang-Mekong River Basin countries prevent and control Helicobacter pylori infection was held in Shenyang, hosted by the China Isotope and Radiation Industry Association and organized by Shenzhen Zhonghe Headway Bio-Sci & Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Headway”).
