14C CAPSULE BREATH TEST KIT
14C Urea Breath Test Kit
The C14 urea breath test kit is a tool for H. pylori testing in the stomach, commonly used to test whether patients have been eradicated after H. pylori treatment, which has a positive significance in the prevention of gastritis, gastric cancer and other diseases.
The C14 urea breath test kit contains C14 Urea capsules and a breath collection card. When the subject takes the capsule, the urease enzyme secreted by H. pylori breaks down the urea to produce 14C-labeled carbon dioxide, which circulates in the bloodstream and is exhaled from the lungs. The patient blows into a collection card in the cartridge, which is inserted into a detector to diagnose H. pylori infection. The C14 H. pylori urea test kit procedure is non-invasive, painless, convenient and rapid, with high diagnostic accuracy (>95%), high safety and no side effects, and is also suitable for quantitative testing. -
13C CAPSULE BREATH TEST KIT
13C Capsule Breath Test Kit
The carbon13 urea breath test kit is a medical tool used in the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection. In addition to diagnosing current symptoms of Helicobacter pylori infection, it is often used to confirm whether Helicobacter pylori has been eradicated after treatment. It is safe, non-invasive, painless, non-radioactive, and does not cause cross-infection. The detection accuracy of the C13 UBT test kit is up to 95% and it is also suitable for pregnant women and children.

C14 Urea Breath Test Analyzer (HUBT-20P)
The 14C urea breath test analyzer (HUBT-20P) is an instrument used by medical institutions to detect Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection in the human stomach.
After the subject takes the [14C]-labeled urea capsule orally if Helicobacter pylori is present in the subject’s stomach, the urease produced by it decomposes urea [14C] into 14CO₂. The 14C UBT deivce uses the ionization method to detect the content of [14C] in the exhaled gas, which can be used to diagnose whether the subject is infected with Helicobacter pylori. -

13C Urea Hp Breath Test Analyzer (HCBT-01)
13C-urea HP breath test analyzer(HCBT-01) is a medical device to diagnose H. pylori urea breath test results. It is commonly used to analyze whether a patient is infected with H. pylori and whether H. pylori is eradicated after treatment.
The C13 breath test analyzer (HCBT-01) is a six-channel detection instrument that can automatically test 6 sets of samples simultaneously. This Hp urea breath analyzer uses the slight differences in the absorption peak positions of ¹³CO₂ and ¹²CO₂ in the infrared region to measure the concentrations of ¹³CO₂ and ¹²CO₂ in the samples. To determine whether the subject is infected with Helicobacter pylori, the change in the isotopic abundance of ¹³CO₂ in the breath sample relative to its natural abundance, expressed as DOB (‰), is calculated by C13 urea breath test diagnostic equipment.

Urea Breath Test Kit
A urea breath test kit is a diagnostic tool used to detect the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection in the stomach. It can detect H. pylori infection in the body using nuclide-labeled urea featuring with non-invasive, accurate, specific, and fast. Therefore, UBT test kits are commonly used to diagnose gastrointestinal diseases, monitor the efficacy of H. pylori treatment, and prevent and control H. pylori infection.
The Detection Principle of H. pylori Breath Test Kit
The UBT test kit includes a urea capsule and a collection bag for collecting the subject’s exhaled breath. H. pylori produces urease, which breaks down urea into NH3 and CO2. If H. pylori is present in the stomach, orally ingesting urea labeled with a radionuclide (13C or 14C) will result in CO2 being exhaled. By using the collection bag in the ubt kit to gather the subject’s exhaled breath and detecting the radionuclide-labeled CO2, it can be determined whether the subject is infected with H. pylori. The capsules in our Hp urea breath kit contain only 75mg urea, which the body can metabolize normally after ingestion, ensuring that the subject does not experience any adverse reactions.
The Advantages of the UBT Test Kit
1. Non-invasive: Unlike endoscopic examination, the urea breath test kit for H. pylori is a non-invasive testing tool that does not cause discomfort to the subject.
2. Fast and Simple: The entire process of using the UBT test kit to detect Helicobacter pylori usually takes less than 1 hour.
3. Accuracy: The urea breath test kit has high sensitivity and specificity for detecting Helicobacter pylori.
Therefore, the UBT test kit is an alternative testing tool to antigen tests, serological tests, and biopsy endoscopy.
The Security of Helicobacter Pylori Ubt Test Kit
The Helicobacter pylori UBT test kit includes the 13C UBT test kit and the 14C UBT test kit. Subjects using different UBT test kits need to take urea capsules labeled with either 13C or 14C. The capsules in the Headway Hp UBT test kit contain only 75mg of urea, which is harmless to the body. The differences between the two are as follows:
13C UBT Test Kit
13C is a stable isotope of carbon and is non-radioactive. This type of Helicobacter pylori UBT test kit can be safely used for children, pregnant women, and women of childbearing age.
14C UBT Test Kit
14C is an unstable isotope of carbon with some radioactivity. It decays by releasing low-energy beta radiation, with a biological half-life of approximately 6 hours. The amount of urea 14C used in the test is very small (about 27.8 kBq), with a radiation dose of approximately 1.59µSv. Both Western countries and China have exempted urea 14C used in diagnosing Helicobacter pylori infections from radiation regulations. Currently, it is believed that this type of H. pylori UBT test kit containing 0.75μCi of urea 14C for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori infections poses virtually no radiation risk to the environment, the subject, or the operator. It is considered very safe, and operators do not need to take any protective measures.
Difference Between 13C UBT Test Kit and 14C UBT Test Kit
Similarities:
Both belong to the urea breath test diagnostic kit, using the biological characteristics of H. pylori secretion of urease as the basis of methodology, to make qualitative judgments on the negative and positive of H. pylori infection. Under the premise of ensuring the quality of the UBT kit and detector, and the operation standardization, both can have good diagnostic accuracy.
Differences:
1. The active ingredients of the Hp UBT test kit are different: the urea capsule in the 14C-UBT kit uses 14C-labeled urea, while the urea capsule in the 13C-UBT kit uses 13C-labeled urea.
2. Different methods of sample collection during the diagnostic process: 14C-UBT only needs to collect the subject’s breath sample after taking the drug for measurement, while 13C-UBT needs to collect two breath samples of the subject before and after taking the drug for comparative measurement.
