C14 Urea Breath Test Analyzer (HUBT-20P)
The 14C urea breath test analyzer (HUBT-20P) is an instrument used by medical institutions to detect Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection in the human stomach.
After the subject takes the [14C]-labeled urea capsule orally if Helicobacter pylori is present in the subject’s stomach, the urease produced by it decomposes urea [14C] into 14CO₂. The 14C UBT deivce uses the ionization method to detect the content of [14C] in the exhaled gas, which can be used to diagnose whether the subject is infected with Helicobacter pylori.
Built-In Geiger-Müller Counter Promises Accuracy
- The C14 Helicobacter pylori tester uses a Geiger-Müller counter for analysis, providing high sensitivity and specificity.
Get Diagnostic Result < 250 Seconds
- With its fast detection speed, the 14CO2 urea breath analyzer provides results in as little as 250 seconds.
No Doctor Is Needed for Diagnosis
- The C14 Hp urea breath tester indicates a positive or negative Hp infection, so there’s no need for a physician to make a further diagnosis.
The 14C UBT device (HUBT-20P) has the following features
Fully Automatic Design
-The 14C UBT device completes measurements automatically without button operation.
Low-Maintenance
-The 14C Helicobacter pylori detector uses the latest circuit design and components, offering more reliable performance with low maintenance needs.
Intelligent Processing
-Automatic error diagnosis, automatic background count subtraction, automatic calibration, and you can design print templates with text and images on the 14C UBT device.
No Noise
-The 14C H.pylori detector has a built-in micro thermal printer that prints automatically, ensuring an eco-friendly and noise-free operation.
Data Management
-The C14 urea breath test diagnostic equipment supports barcode scanners and can connect to hospital LANs for information sharing.
Performance
- Efficiency of detection on 14C unquenched standard source is ≥15%;
- BGC of 14C is ≤50CPM;
- The tolerance of relative Variation of 14C detection efficiency is ≤30%after operating for successive 48 hours
The Carbon 14 Urea Instrument Operation Steps
1. Power on and warm up the 14c H.pylori detector
Install the 14CO2 urea breath analyzer in a suitable working environment, connect the power supply, turnon the power switch, and warm up for 30 minutes to reach a stable condition.
2. C14 urea breath test calibration
a. Automatic background calibration: Turn on the power, and the instrument will automatically perform background calibration for about 45 minutes, do not operate the 14C UBT device during this process. The instrument will detect and adapt to the environmental background radiation.
b. Manual calibration of background: Press the “Measurement” button within 10 seconds after turning on the power, the instrument will automatically adapt to the environmental background for 41 minutes and 40 seconds. The background should be less than 250 after completion.
c. Efficiency standard card calibration: Insert the randomly equipped efficiency standard card into the measuring chamber for measurement, and the resultant C value should be within the range of ±30% of the labeled value, and be positive.
At the same time to meet a, c or b, c two conditions, the C14 urea breath test instrument is normal and usable.
3. Sample collection
– Subjects take 1 urea [¹⁴C] capsule orally on an empty stomach or 2 hours after eating.
– The subject sat still for 15 minutes.
– Remove the air collection card and mouthpiece, attach the mouthpiece to the air collection card, and blow with the mouthpiece in the subject’s mouth at a moderate force, with a change of air, but no backward inhalation is allowed. Stop blowing when the indicator changes from orange-red to yellow (about 1-3 minutes). If the color change is incomplete within 3 minutes, also stop blowing, does not affect the test results.
– After the sample is collected, mark it on the air collection card.
4. Sample Testing
Insert the air collection card to be tested into the measuring chamber for sample measurement, and the 14C H.pylori detector will automatically give the test result of C value and HP negative and positive.
5. Printing Report
After the sample test, you can choose to print the test report with external printer or with the micro-printer that comes with the 14C urea breath test analyzer, which can be used by the doctor as the basis of diagnosis.

Urea Breath Test Machine
13C Urea Hp Breath Test Analyzer (HCBT-01)
13C-urea HP breath test analyzer(HCBT-01) is a medical device to diagnose H. pylori urea breath test results. It is commonly used to analyze whether a patient is infected with H. pylori and whether H. pylori is eradicated after treatment.
The C13 breath test analyzer (HCBT-01) is a six-channel detection instrument that can automatically test 6 sets of samples simultaneously. This Hp urea breath analyzer uses the slight differences in the absorption peak positions of ¹³CO₂ and ¹²CO₂ in the infrared region to measure the concentrations of ¹³CO₂ and ¹²CO₂ in the samples. To determine whether the subject is infected with Helicobacter pylori, the change in the isotopic abundance of ¹³CO₂ in the breath sample relative to its natural abundance, expressed as DOB (‰), is calculated by C13 urea breath test diagnostic equipment.
