14C Urea Breath Test Kit
The C14 urea breath test kit is a tool for H. pylori testing in the stomach, commonly used to test whether patients have been eradicated after H. pylori treatment, which has a positive significance in the prevention of gastritis, gastric cancer and other diseases.
The C14 urea breath test kit contains C14 Urea capsules and a breath collection card. When the subject takes the capsule, the urease enzyme secreted by H. pylori breaks down the urea to produce 14C-labeled carbon dioxide, which circulates in the bloodstream and is exhaled from the lungs. The patient blows into a collection card in the cartridge, which is inserted into a detector to diagnose H. pylori infection. The C14 H. pylori urea test kit procedure is non-invasive, painless, convenient and rapid, with high diagnostic accuracy (>95%), high safety and no side effects, and is also suitable for quantitative testing.
Urea Is Excreted in 24H
The C14 urea capsule of the C14 UBT test kit is safe, with 65% of the urea excreted in urine and feces within 24 hours.
Easy Test Steps
The C14 UBT kit is quick and easy to test, usually taking only a few minutes. The patient takes a labeled urea and then breathes out a sample to be analyzed.
Quantitative Analysis
The degree of H. pylori infection can be quantified by measuring the amount of radioactive carbon dioxide in the breath.
The C14 urea breath test kit provides efficient and safe stools for the detection of H. pylori with the following features:
Highly Sensitive and Specific:
the C14 urea breath test (UBT) kit is a susceptible and specific test stool that accurately detects the presence of H. pylori.
Non-invasive:
Compared to other tests (e.g. gastroscopy biopsy), the C14 Urea Breath Test is a non-invasive test that is more comfortable and safer for the patient.
Fast Results:
Results are usually available in a short period of time, usually within 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing physicians to make a quick diagnosis.、
Wide Range of Applications:
The non-invasive 14C urea breath test kit is suitable for a wide range of people, including children and the elderly, and is particularly suitable for patients who are not candidates for gastroscopy.
No Radioactive Hazard:
C14 is a kind of radioactive isotope, but its radiation level is very low, so the carbon14 UBT test kit has no obvious harm to the human body and is highly safe.
Portability:
The C14 UBT test kit and testing equipment are relatively portable and suitable for use in a variety of medical settings, including clinics and hospitals.
C14 Urea H. Pylori Test Kit Usage Procedure
1. Taking A Capsule
-After the subject is fasting or has fasted for more than 2 hours, take 1 urea [¹⁴C] capsule in the C14 UBT test kit with about 20ml of cold water.
2. Collect Exhaled Air for 15 Minutes
-After sitting for 15 minutes, take out the collection card in the HP C14 urea breath test kit and blow until the indicator changes from orange-red to yellow (about 1-3 minutes). Do not inhale.
3. Detection
-After the sample is collected, insert the air collection card into the C14 urea breath test analyzer for measurement.
